i was born a baby. a blank slate. thinking i was in control of my own destiny. & then, i met my father.

i began playing percussion in music class because i didn't want to learn how to play a "real instrument". & then miss elmherst wouldn't let me switch to clarinet because none of the other drummers could keep time. tragic.

i got so good at the game rock band that i got my dad to buy me a real drumkit after my mom said no.
sept 2010
joined the high school jazz ensemble & played across the country. my favourite tune was charles mingus's fables of faubus, & mr. noble never let us play it. i have never financially recovered from this.

went to york university for jazz for like, maybe two months?
sept 2018
got a pop music degree from the university of western ontario. fell in love with taylor swift from afar & worked at the radio station.
nov 2020
moved to, from, to, & back again from ireland. got a master's degree from the irish world academy of music & dance. still writing songs about a non-swiftie from county mayo.

turned on the ol' buchowski charm & convinced a company to give me a job making playlists for living.
